Who we are
Hybla Life Rooms is a young structure housed in a completely renovated characteristic building.
It resides in one of the oldest central squares of Ragusa Ibla:
Piazza Giovan Battista Odierna, adjacent to the enchanting Iblei Gardens .
Structure
Restored in 2022 , the structure retains its original appearance.
The thick stone walls and the ancient vaults enclose all the warmth of Sicilian hospitality .
Thanks to the attention to detail and a careful and original restoration of the antique furniture brought back to life, our structure is able to accompany the visitor in the discovery of an authentic Sicily .
Hybla Life Rooms
The choice of the name Hybla Life Rooms encapsulates in three simple words what the
structure manages to give you during your stay:
Living Ibla.
The location and the wonderful view over the wonderful
Giardino Ibleo will allow you to immerse yourself in the Baroque of Ragusa Ibla, where 14 of the 18 Ragusa monuments recognized by UNESCO reside.
The Iblei Gardens
Built in 1858 on the initiative of some local nobles and
most of the people who worked for free for the construction of the work, the Villa Comunale of Ragusa Ibla is the oldest of the four Hyblaean gardens .
It stands on a spur of rock overlooking the Irminio river valley, the entrance consists of a magnificent avenue flanked by numerous palm trees.
The Hyblean garden is well cared for and adorned with well-sculpted benches, columns with characteristic stone vases of different shapes and an elegant balcony with a limestone fence. At the center of the villa stands the monument dedicated to the fallen during the Great War.
Within this harmonious context they are found
the church of San Vincenzo Ferreri , the church of San Giacomo and that of the Capuchins . Instead, a few meters away are the archaeological excavations of Ragusa Ibla.
